When People’s Liberty announced their Haile Fellowship in 2014, tiny houses on wheels were reality television stars. Affordable housing in Greater Cincinnati may have been abundant, but prices in its urban core continued to rise. My goal was to explore what it meant to build a tiny home in the city as a solution to affordable housing. Specifically, the idea was to create a model for low-income, affordable homeownership.
