Lunch at Grant Playground

Have you ever played on a Spinanmi or Slither Slide? Children now have the opportunity at the recently renovated Grant Playground. The Playground got the refresher as part of the City of Cincinnati’s Neighborhood Enhancement Program, which also featured landscaping and ornamental fencing.

The Christian Moerlein Brewing Company will also bring the sport of Fowling (bowling pins knocked over by a football) to the park the last Sunday of each month this summer. The open lawn, basketball courts, and play equipment weren’t always there. Way back when, there was a wading pool and triangle-shaped structure that was the entire Grant Park.

Next Thursday, July 16th at 12pm, Start Small will host a lunch at the playground, at the corner of McMicken and Walnut, as part of the Live Large event series. Only a minute walk away is where the two tiny homes will be built. Stop by, see the sites, and let loose the kid inside on the Spinami.

Lunch provided. RSVP to the Live Large Events via Eventbrite or Facebook.
